Petzl ANGE L

The ANGE L carabiner represents the best of both traditional solid and classic wire gate carabiners. Petzl's MonoFil technology and the H-shaped cross-section make it light (34 grams) and provide an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. The shape of the nose and the Keylock system prevent the carabiner from snagging when cutting and releasing. It is the perfect design for climbers who want to reduce weight while maintaining the functionality of a standard size carabiner.

Description

Very lightweight standard size carabiner:

• With a weight of 34 g, it facilitates mountaineering and climbing in alpine mountains and ice.
• The size and strength-to-weight ratio of the carabiner is optimized thanks to the H-shaped cross-section.

Easy to attach and detach:

• The MonoFil gate opens and closes smoothly and has a much longer lifespan compared to traditional wire gate carabiners; the wire gate is recessed into the frame, reducing the risk of it rubbing against the rock
• The Keylock system is designed not to get caught in a gear loop, piton, rope or webbing.
• The nose of the carabiner has a hole that allows ice, snow or dirt to be cleared away.
• The flat back of the carabiner provides stability when holding it in the hand or clamping it in place
• Wide contact surface against the rope and bolt shackle for better rope glide and reduced wear on the carabiner
