EJECT

The **EJECT friction saver** enables safe and gentle rigging in the tree crown. It is adjustable, easy to retrieve, and has an integrated pulley for optimal efficiency.

Petzl **EJECT** is an adjustable friction saver specifically developed for arborists. It allows the working rope to be rigged without damaging the tree, even in narrow branch crotches. With multiple rigging configurations on one or two branches and an adjustable choke function for precise length adjustment, climbing and movement in the tree are optimized thanks to the highly efficient integrated pulley which facilitates rope glide at the anchor point. The included retrieval ball makes the system easy to retrieve from the ground.

• Adjustable friction saver for gentle rope installation without damaging the tree:
• Multiple rigging configurations on the branch: wrap-around or choked. Possible to connect two anchors for small branches.
• Choke adjuster for precise length adjustment of the strap.
• Special design protects the tree.
• Comes with a 1.5 m high-visibility yellow strap, replaceable. The strap can be connected to another 1.5 or 2.5 m strap for longer length on larger trees.
• Safety features:
• Rope installation is only possible if the friction saver is correctly rigged and the gated attachment point is locked.
• Gated attachment point remains locked as long as the rope is installed in the pulley.
• Recommended for doubled rope (DdRT/MRS), but can also be used on single rope (SRT/SRS) according to instructions.
• Optimal efficiency:
• Integrated high-efficiency pulley optimizes rope glide at the anchor point.
• Enables use for two people in rescue operations.
• Easy retrieval from the ground:
• The attachment point is unlocked via the retrieval ball when the rope leaves the pulley.
• 21 mm yellow retrieval ball, specially designed for EJECT, for easy retrieval from the ground.
• Narrow strap and loop minimize the risk of getting stuck in the tree.
• Complies with ANSI Z133 standard.
