The Notch Sixpack is a high-performance rigging device for safe and efficient tree section felling. With six friction bollards and adjustable settings, it provides precise control over loads.
Developed in collaboration with expert arborist Terry Banyard, the Notch Six Pack Lowering Device is designed for high-performance tree section felling (rigging) . It is designed to optimize friction management at the base of the tree, allowing ground crews to effectively control loads while climbers rig sections for descent from above.
This innovative rigging solution features six friction bollards , allowing for the simultaneous use of two rigging ropes and offering over ten unique friction settings . The Six Pack delivers precise friction control for safe and smooth operation even on the toughest rigging jobs.
Made from Carbon Steel and a patented Super Friction Coating , the bollards reduce rope wear and ensure consistent, tangle-free performance. The exit fairleads allow for locking under load , increasing safety in complex rigging scenarios.
Installation is quick and secure with the included ratchet strap system , which allows the Six Pack to be firmly anchored to the base of the tree.
