Petzl Maestro® S

The Petzl Maestro® S is a descender with an integrated progress-capture pulley, developed for technical rescue operations. It handles heavy loads up to **250 kg** and is compatible with ropes of **10.5 to 11.5 mm** in diameter.

The Maestro S is designed for demanding rescue operations where versatility is crucial. The device facilitates the handling of heavy loads during lowering or hoisting and can be used in the main system or as a backup secondary device. The ergonomic handle and integrated brake allow for comfortable and controlled lowering. The transition from lowering to hoisting occurs instantly without needing to move the load. The integrated pulley has a large diameter with a faceted sheave on sealed ball bearings for high hoisting efficiency of **86%**. The AUTO-LOCK system automatically locks the rope when the handle is not in use, and the rope can be taken up without manipulating the handle.
