PINCH, the versatile assisted-braking belay device designed for sport climbing, multi-pitch climbing and rope access techniques. PINCH is the first device on the market that can be attached seamlessly and directly to the central ring of the climbing harness. The innovative design positions it close to the body, eliminating the need for a fixed position when the rope is released, allowing a secure grip with all fingers on the brake rope at all times.

PINCH has a compact design and an extended span that allows the belayer to easily pay out 20 to 30 cm more rope in a single movement. The linear rope routing through the front steel brake grooves minimises rope tangling during lowering and abseiling. Speed is controlled intuitively, and pressure from the brake hand contributes to improved handling of the brake line, which is particularly beneficial when using thin or soft ropes.

Safety is paramount with the anti-panic function, which provides peace of mind for both beginners and experienced users. Noteworthy is the integrated second braking level, which facilitates controlled lowering for lighter people or in systems with high rope friction. Advanced users and rope technicians have the option to permanently deactivate the anti-panic function using the supplied screw.
