Description

WoundClot Trauma Gauze is a bioabsorbable hemostatic gauze that effectively stops bleeding, even during anticoagulant treatment. It is easy to apply and absorbs large amounts of fluid, promoting rapid healing.

WoundClot Trauma Gauze is a bioabsorbable, non-compressive, and cost-effective hemostatic gauze made from non-oxidized cellulose. It can be shaped to control bleeding in a wide range of wounds, including severe traumas and lacerations. Compact and small, WoundClot requires minimal training and is ideal for ambulance, police, rescue services, and military use.

Scientifically designed to create a hemodynamic gel environment, WoundClot absorbs large amounts of coagulant while adhering to the wound and effectively controlling bleeding.

It provides a rapid and sustained hemostatic effect that helps preserve the wound area for clinical treatment. Its absorption capacity exceeds 2500% of its own weight. WoundClot works effectively even during anticoagulant treatment.

After the bleeding has stopped, the remaining gel membrane can be safely rinsed away without pulling on soft tissue or disturbing the existing clot.

How WoundClot works

Upon contact with blood or exudate, the molecular structure of WoundClot Trauma Gauze changes into a viscous gel that adheres to the wound. This gel activates, enhances, and accelerates the natural coagulation process. The gelatinous membrane forms a mechanical barrier that immediately reduces blood flow. Platelets from the injury adhere to the gel via intermolecular forces, forming a stable membrane that can withstand vigorous arterial and venous blood flows for hours.

Specific molecular groups, created during manufacturing, activate various coagulation factors in the blood during gel formation and contribute to a physiologically natural biological clot in the wound.

Note that the 8 cm x 20 cm gauze is intended for moderate and severe traumatic bleeding.
