The FORAS carabiner opens at the side for easy use with narrow webbing. With Triple Lock and high breaking strength it provides optimal safety for climbing, arborist work and industrial applications.

Equipment is getting lighter and webbing narrower. To stop the webbing slipping out of position, carabiners have to become narrower. This has the drawback, however, that they do not open wide enough for easy clipping. FORAS solves this problem. This aluminium carabiner takes webbing up to 25 mm wide and opens at the side! Thanks to its H-profile design, the carabiner has a breaking strength of 23 kN. An automatic Triple Lock closure mechanism guarantees optimal handling and the highest safety.

FORAS is ideal for professional arborists, climbers and clearance workers who require reliable equipment for work at height. The side-opening gate provides a large gate opening of 15 mm, making clipping easy even under difficult conditions.
