The Petzl Control 12.5 mm is a low-stretch kernmantle rope specifically developed for arborists and tree care. The rope has a large diameter that provides high strength and excellent grip. The patented splice at one end optimizes the rope's glide through devices such as friction savers, pulleys, and through tree branches. The compact splice is small enough to pass through the friction chain of ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical prusiks.
