The rope offers optimal compatibility with mechanical devices such as ascenders, descenders and friction brakes thanks to its **11.5 mm diameter** and X-Braid core, which gives precisely **2% static stretch** under load in the tree[1][2].

The sheath is made of **heat-treated polyamide** for increased wear resistance and resistance to heat, while the core with **32 strands** ensures minimal stretch and high strength. Courant has optimised the diameter to 11.5 mm for smooth operation with a wide range of equipment, including devices certified to EN 1891 Type A. The rope is marked to standard and is excellently suited for demanding arboricultural applications[3].
