The Distel Carbon 3.1 Comfort are premium carbon-fibre climbing spurs designed for maximum comfort, low weight and exceptional durability. Made from a special polycarbonate blend reinforced with unidirectional carbon fibres for high breaking strength and load capacity.[1]

The Distel Carbon 3.1 Comfort represents the best in modern climbing spurs for professional arborists. With an ergonomic design and advanced material choices, they set a new standard for efficiency and comfort during long climbing sessions. The shells are made from a ductile and rugged polycarbonate matrix combined with high-quality unidirectional carbon fibres, giving minimal weight while withstanding extreme loads. The footprint is 47 mm wide for stability, and the shank is angled for optimal ergonomics. The underside is protected with hard-wearing Vibram sole rubber for grip on branches and protection against wear.[1]

For ultimate comfort, the Comfort model has thick, optimised padding with 20 mm thick grid-structure foam that distributes pressure and absorbs impacts. The 100 mm wide Velcro straps (VELCRO) provide even pressure distribution without pressure points. The calf circumference adjusts from 31 to 50 cm, and the height of the shells from 34.3 to 47.8 cm in 6 mm steps for a perfect fit.[1]

On the foot are two adjustable Velcro straps over the heel and instep for a firm, play-free fixing. Compatible with all standard gaffs. Weight per pair: 1730 g (from 1.73 kg depending on configuration).[1]
