Description
Description
DMM Hitch Climber Eccentric is an advanced evolution of the classic Hitch Climber pulley, developed with over a decade of expertise from DMM and feedback from climbers. The eccentric geometry and integrated "pushing plates" markedly improve efficiency by advancing the friction hitch earlier and optimising rope routing for smoother climbing and slack management.[1][6]
This pulley is perfect for DRT systems (Doubled Rope Technique) and work positioning with a moving or stationary line. The optimised fairlead flares route the rope efficiently towards the sheave, while the triangular rigging plate with three attachment points enables flexible positioning systems and organises carabiners neatly. Made with high-precision materials for maximum durability, low weight and rope-friendliness. Patent pending.[1][3]
Features
- Hot-forged and CNC-machined aluminium side plates for high strength and wear resistance
- New pushing plates that advance friction hitches earlier and more efficiently
- Optimised fairlead flares for better rope routing and slack management
- Triangular rigging plate with three holes for versatile positioning systems and organised attachments
- Large sheave with efficient ball bearing for minimal friction
- Large, rigid stainless steel axle for long service life
- Corrosion-resistant and tamper-proof assembly
- Weight-optimised design for high performance without unnecessary mass
