NIGMA

NIGMA is a hard-wearing American-style climbing rope, perfect for arborists. Its stable diameter and high abrasion resistance make it a reliable choice in the tree.

NIGMA is an American-style climbing rope with a double braid and 24 braided strands. The rope is supplied in a rugged rope bag and is available in lengths of 35, 45 and 60 metres with a Slim TECH® splice.[2][4][9]

Thanks to its unique braid and choice of 100% polyester material, NIGMA maintains a very stable diameter over time – it does not swell with use or moisture. The rope is extremely resistant to abrasion, making it ideal for demanding arborist work in the crowns.[4]

The vivid colours in a moiré pattern (blue and orange) are integrated into the strands of the outer sheath, making the rope very easy to spot in the tree even from a distance.[4]

The Slim TECH® splice is specially designed to pass through mechanical prusik devices such as the ZigZag, SpiderJack and LockJack without any problems, allowing smooth climbing and manoeuvring.[2][4]
