Description
Description
The ISC **Rope Wrench (Double Tether)** is a revolutionary friction device for **SRT climbing** (Single Rope Technique) that has transformed the arborist industry. With its double tether, it creates an "enclosed double-rope system" on a single rope strand by producing a bend in the rope above the climber's hitch. This provides even friction throughout the climb, ascent, descent and lateral movements around the tree – something impossible with traditional double-rope technique (DdRT). Easy installation thanks to the centre-line pin and bolt for quick tether attachment. The device is lightweight, robust and certified for professional use.
Features
- Revolutionises SRT climbing with a constant friction level at the hitch
- Creates an "S-bend" in the rope for optimal load distribution between wrench and hitch
- Centre-line pin for easy installation on the climbing rope without taking the rope down
- Hex bolt for quick attachment of the rigid double tether
- Easy to handle during ascent, descent and horizontal movements
- Compatible with favourite hitches such as the Distel (5 wraps recommended)
- Works with ropes from 11-13 mm diameter
- Aluminium construction with stainless steel components for durability and low weight
- CE-certified to EN12278:2007 for climbing devices
- Not intended as primary life-supporting equipment
