TIBLOC is an extremely compact and light emergency rope clamp from Petzl. Perfect for ascending a rope, setting up hauling or lifting systems or as a replacement for a prusik knot in self-rescue situations.

Detailed description

TIBLOC is an ultralight emergency clamp that can always be carried on the harness or in the rucksack. It is versatile and easy to use with a locking carabiner for rope ascent or progress capture in hauling systems. An automatic system presses the carabiner against the rope for immediate and complete grip in all positions – no risk of rope damage from partial toothing on the sheath. The stainless steel cam has angled teeth and self-cleaning slots for optimal performance even on icy, muddy or dirty rope. Markings on the clamp indicate the correct installation direction. A small hole at the top allows a keeper cord to be attached.
