Description
The Taz Lov 2 is the ultimate multifunctional tool, specially designed for Rope Access Technicians (RAT). This unique device functions as a fall arrester, descender, and positioning unit for diagonal, tight, or regular ropes. The Lov 2 replaces up to three separate devices for RAT work:
- Fall arrest device
- Descender
- Chest ascender that switches to a descender
For work at height, the Lov 2 can replace two devices in combination with the LOV.ROPE:
- Adjustable lanyard for work positioning
- Evacuation device
With the Lov 2, you can continue with fall protection, rappelling, or positioning on taut lines without changing equipment.
Examples of Use
If a technician falls and is hanging in their fall arrest system, they can use the Lov 2 to self-evacuate immediately without other systems. The device also allows for diagonal rappelling to avoid obstacles.
The Lov 2 meets the strict standards EN 12841 Type A/C (fall protection and rappelling) and EN 358 (work positioning with LOV.ROPE).
