antiSHOCK Chainsaw Lanyard

The antiSHOCK chainsaw lanyard from TEUFELBERGER is an innovative solution for arborists that absorbs forces when a tool such as the chainsaw becomes jammed, reducing the risk of injury to the climber, harness and anchor point.

Function and safety

The antiSHOCK chainsaw lanyard activates when a force exceeding **220-240 daN** (approx. 2.0-2.2 kN) acts on the lanyard, for example when jammed in a branch. The tear web then activates and reduces the dynamic force to **150-180 daN** (approx. 1.5-1.8 kN). This reduces the load on the harness, fall protection system and anchor point, preventing injury.

If the tool does not come free, the web tears completely after **70 cm**, releasing the tool to the ground to avoid further risks. The elastic web is specially treated for exceptional wear resistance thanks to a special yarn treatment.

Important: The product is not PPE-certified (marked red in our system). Must not be used for personal safety under EU Directive 89/686/EEC or for lifting under EU Directive 2006/42/EC.
