The ECHO DCS 2500 is the battery version of the CS-2511WES , providing equivalent power and performance while weighing just 2.0 kg. This makes it the lightest battery-powered professional chainsaw on the market. The incredibly slim and balanced design provides easy handling and maneuverability with minimal effort, making the chainsaw perfect for a variety of jobs.
The electric motors in ECHO's battery series are brushless, meaning that the permanent magnet is rotating and the coils are located in the stator. This means that mechanical wear is avoided.
Comes with 10 inch (25 cm) bar, 1.3 mm, 3/8”, as standard.
The magnet on the ECHO brushless motor is high performance and creates no contact or friction between the brush and the commutator, which reduces noise. This provides quieter operation which is beneficial in noise sensitive areas such as – parks and gardens at hospitals, schools, cemeteries etc.
The 56 eFORCE battery generates power equivalent to the CS 2511WES, meaning you get quiet, low vibration and emission-free professional-quality performance.
