Arbpro - XS9.1 Split Tail Prusik

The Arbpro XS9.1 Split Tail Prusik is an extremely hard-wearing climbing cord specially designed for arborists who require optimal grip, high abrasion resistance and reliable performance in demanding tree-work environments. This split-tail prusik cord is perfect for use in prusik systems and combines excellently with main lines of 11.5 mm and 12.7 mm.

The XS9.1 is made from advanced XS Prusik cable, developed to offer superior strength and resistance to abrasion, heat and mechanical load. The double-braided construction consists of a core of high-quality polyester (PET) and a braided cover of Kevlar®/polyester (KEV/PET).

The unique blend of Kevlar® and polyester in the cover strands gives exceptional grip on the main line while the cord shows minimal stretch and exceptional durability. Kevlar® provides unbeatable wear resistance while polyester ensures flexibility and low weight. The result is a prusik cord that lasts considerably longer than traditional alternatives, even under intensive use.

With a diameter of exactly 9.1 mm, the XS9.1 fits perfectly for split-tail configurations in modern arborist systems. The sewn eyes are certified to EN 566:2006 with a breaking load exceeding 22 kN, guaranteeing safety in every situation.
