The ISC Phlotich is a versatile pulley designed specifically for SRT (Single Rope Technique) and DdRT (Doubled Rope Technique) climbing in trees. With multiple attachment points and an innovative design, it makes efficient, safe and precise climbing easier for professional arborists.
The ISC Phlotich is a multi-opening pulley specially adapted for SRT and DdRT climbing. It is available with bushings for optimal performance and durability. The Phlotich offers exceptional flexibility thanks to its unique construction with profiled side plates and specially designed openings.

- Profiled side plates: Capture the host line effectively, minimising movement and providing stability under load.
- Parallel side plates: Give a clean and precise connection to the anchor carabiner.
- Twin Leg Tether support: Enables seamless use in SRT climbing with the Rope Wrench, reducing clutter and optimising the alignment of hitch, pulley and line.
- Lower anchor opening: Allows full carabiner rotation for increased manoeuvrability.
- Dual carabiner alignment: Ideal for doubled rope climbing – aligns two anchor carabiners effectively on one pulley instead of separate anchors.
- Unique Kidney-opening: Allows multiple carabiners at once, rotation of carabiners, self-centring under load, ideal for DdRT climbing around large limbs and anchoring sternal devices such as the Chestie or Rope Wrench in SRT ascent.
- Works as a trolley: Efficient self-adjustment of the carabiner in the kidney opening when used as a trolley.
- Double crotching and mechanical advantage: Multiple attachment points enable complex systems such as double crotching or mechanical advantage systems.
