Description
Description
The DMM Hitch Climber Eccentric is an advanced evolution of the classic Hitch Climber pulley, developed with over a decade of expertise from DMM and feedback from climbers. Its eccentric geometry and integrated "pushing plates" significantly improve efficiency by advancing the friction hitch earlier and optimizing rope guidance for smoother climbing and slack management.[1][6]
This pulley is perfect for DRT (Doubled Rope Technique) systems and work positioning with movable or stationary lines. The optimized fairlead flares efficiently guide the rope towards the sheave, while the triangular rigging plate with three attachment points allows for flexible positioning systems and neatly organizes carabiners. Manufactured with high-precision materials for maximum durability, low weight, and rope-friendliness. Patent pending.[1][3]
Features
- Hot-forged and CNC-machined aluminum side plates for high strength and wear resistance
- New pushing plates that advance friction hitches earlier and more efficiently
- Optimized fairlead flares for better rope guidance and slack management
- Triangular rigging plate with three holes for versatile positioning systems and organized attachments
- Large sheave with efficient ball bearings for minimal friction
- Large, rigid stainless steel axle for long service life
- Corrosion-resistant and tamper-proof assembly
- Weight-optimized design for high performance without unnecessary mass
