The Sterling Scion 11.5mm is a strong and supple climbing line, perfect for both MRS and SRS techniques. Its hard-wearing construction and good handling make it ideal for arborist work.

The Scion is a fully certified double-braid climbing line at 11.5 mm. CE and EN 1891 as well as ANSI certified. Made in the USA.

The Scion's ability to absorb dynamic forces makes the rope ideal for MRS and SRS climbing techniques. The 11.5 mm Scion is a double-braid rope with a heavy-duty 24-strand polyester sheath, yet engineered to have reduced stretch, soft handling and easy knotability. The hard-wearing sheath is designed to handle mechanical devices and to run efficiently through hardware. The Scion is hand-spliced and is also available with sewn terminations on request.
