DMM Steel Klettersteig Locksafe

The DMM Steel Klettersteig Locksafe carabiner is an extremely strong and durable carbon steel carabiner with a 12mm bar thickness and triple locking mechanism (Locksafe) for maximum security. The unique Klettersteig shape provides an extra large internal volume and gate opening, perfect for clipping onto steel cables, safety lines, and hard anchor points during via ferrata, high-altitude work, and arborist tasks.

This carabiner combines high breaking strengths of 45 kN along the major axis with a robust construction of cold-forged and heat-treated carbon steel. The Locksafe mechanism requires three separate movements to open the gate, providing superior safety. Zinc-plated according to EN ISO 2081:2008 Fe/Zn 5c for excellent corrosion protection.
