The rope's versatility is shown by its easy splicing in all configurations, making it easy to adapt on site. A key feature is the precise twist control of each sheath strand, which maintains optimal stability and minimises unwanted rotation during use. The sling is 4 metres long and fitted with a low-friction ring (Dead Eye) for smooth redirection of rope and blocks. Traditionally used by attaching a block, Portawrap or other equipment to the eye of the sling and tying a choking knot such as a cow hitch or timber hitch with the running end – a simple and effective rigging method.
