DMM Steel Klettersteig Locksafe

The DMM Steel Klettersteig Locksafe carabiner is an extremely strong and hard-wearing carabiner in carbon steel with 12 mm bar thickness and triple locking (Locksafe) for maximum safety. The unique Klettersteig shape gives extra-large internal volume and gate opening, perfect for clipping onto steel chains, safety lanyards and hard anchor points in via ferrata, work at height and arborist tasks.

This carabiner combines high breaking strengths of 45 kN along the major axis with a robust construction in cold-forged and heat-treated carbon steel. The Locksafe mechanism requires three separate movements to open the gate, providing superior safety. Zinc-plated to EN ISO 2081:2008 Fe/Zn 5c for excellent corrosion protection. Weight: 283 g.
