ISC Chest Ascender

The ISC Chest Ascender is a compact and lightweight climbing device, perfect for Rope Access and arborists. Its spring-loaded cam provides increased grip even on wet ropes.

The ISC Chest Ascender is compact and lightweight and has been designed for use on a full body harness. It is ideal for use in Rope Access work and arboricultural tasks.

The cam is spring-loaded and fitted with a toggle mechanism, which allows for easy one-handed operation of the device when attaching to/removing from the rope. The Chest Ascender offers increased grip under low-load, even on wet, greasy or oily ropes. The cones are angled downwards, which provides maximum grip but at the same time allows the cam to easily slide up the rope.
