Description

The Petzl ASAP is a mobile fall arrester that automatically follows the rope and locks in the event of a fall. Provides optimal fall protection for work at height.

With its unique locking system, the ASAP sets the standard in fall protection for workers at height. In normal use the fall arrester moves freely along the rope without manual intervention and follows the user in all their movements. In the event of a fall or sudden acceleration, the ASAP locks on the rope and stops the user. Depending on use, the ASAP can also be combined with an ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS energy absorber to work at a distance from the rope.

Features

Automatic function: follows the user freely along the rope during normal movement, without manual intervention.
Quick locking: locks immediately in the event of a fall or sudden acceleration and stops the fall effectively.
Easy installation: can be quickly fitted anywhere on the rope by pulling back the locking wheel.
Compatibility: works on vertical or inclined ropes, adapted for different workplaces.
Fall reduction: can be combined with the ASAP LOCK for additional safety and reduced fall distance.
Robust construction: drop-resistant when passing intermediate anchors.
Compatible with energy absorbers: can be used with the ASAP'SORBER (20 or 40 cm) or ASAP'SORBER AXESS for increased safety during work at a distance from the rope.
