The Petzl I'D Small is designed for professional work at height and rope access. The device combines simplicity, safety, and versatility with advanced features such as an anti-panic function and the AUTO-LOCK system, which automatically locks the rope when the handle is released.

• Easy to use:
  • Safety gate on the movable side plate makes it easy to install the rope while the device remains connected to the harness.
  • Easy rope installation thanks to the rope guide and clear markings.
  • Anti-error catch reduces the risk of accidents due to incorrect installation on the rope.
  • Ergonomic handle for smooth descent control. Two descent modes: on the side plate or in the V-shaped friction channel.
  • Anti-panic function: Automatically stops the descent if the user pulls too hard on the handle.
  • Allows for smooth movement on inclined or horizontal terrain.
  • AUTO-LOCK system: Automatically locks the rope when the handle is released, for easy positioning at the workstation without needing to handle the device or tie it off. Automatic reset of the handle reduces the risk of accidental snagging.
  • The handle automatically retracts to the transport position when the rope is removed, reducing the risk of snagging when carried on the harness.
