Description
Description
STEIN ELEVATE climbing spurs offer adjustable comfort and durability for professional arborists. With an angled design and adaptable calf sections, you get safe and efficient climbing.
The one-piece aluminium shank has a **5 degree angle** that allows the spur to adapt to your posture and facilitates the downward force required straight from the leg through the gaff into the pole or trunk. The shank is **hard-anodised** to protect the aluminium and extend its durability.[1][6]
The shank is fitted with a series of adjustment holes that provide a **90 mm height variation**. Specially designed threaded inserts are used to attach the calf pad, which avoids threading the holes in the spurs and reduces any problems with cross-threading.
Because all climbers have different lower legs and calves, the **ELEVATE calf pad is made from 2 mm aluminium** that can be adjusted to your calf width, unlike solid pads. This feature provides a more secure fit around the calf. The calf pad is fully height-adjustable with a **90 mm variation** and has the option of **4 degrees of offset** to aid climbing comfort.[1][6]
The **washable inner pad** has vertical ribs for increased comfort and ventilation, and the pad attaches to the aluminium shell with heavy-duty hook-and-loop straps and loops.
The ELEVATE spurs attach to the leg with a **100 mm wide hook-and-loop system** and a traditional synthetic leather strap with buckle for a secure and comfortable fit.
Features
- **Fully anodised aluminium shank** with 5° angle for optimal force transfer and durability.
- **Adjustment holes** for 90 mm height adjustment of the calf pad.
- **2 mm aluminium calf pad** that can be shaped to the width of the calf.
- **4° calf pad offset** for personal comfort.
- **Replaceable protection stirrups** for a long service life.
- **Washable inner pad** with ribs for ventilation and comfort.
- **100 mm wide hook-and-loop straps** plus buckle for secure fastening.
