Nordic Pocket Saw – Arboristen 2 (throwing saw)

Nordic Pocket Saw Arboristen 2 is a throwing saw for safe and efficient pruning of hard-to-reach branches. Saw branches up to 10 meters from a safe distance, without a ladder!

The Arborist version 2 is a pole saw designed to ensure safe and efficient cutting of hard-to-reach branches. This product allows users to cut branches up to 10 meters without the need for a ladder or professional help. Thanks to the long straps, users can stand at a safe distance of 10 meters / 33 feet while cutting. This feature makes the Arborist a safe tool that helps prevent injuries from falling branches and twigs.

The chain teeth are bidirectional, cutting in both directions as the belts are pulled back and forth. This ensures continuous and efficient cutting and minimizes any wasted power. Unlike other products in our range, the Arboristen has teeth on both the top and bottom, which allows sawing from both sides. It therefore does not matter which side the chain ends up on when it is placed on the branch. The user therefore does not have to worry about turning the chain to the right side, but can instead start sawing straight away.

New features in V.2 compared to V.1:

1. The connection between the saw chain and the belts is significantly more robust and consists of two steel links connected by a 6 mm screw carabiner. The kit includes an M6 wrench for easy opening and closing of the screw carabiners.

2. The product now includes a 2mm casting line and a small, but moderately heavy casting weight. This improvement makes precision casting much easier. The casting line also has low friction against the branch, ensuring that it does not get stuck on the way down.

3. The long straps, the throwing line and the throwing weight are now colored orange for better visibility and easier location.

4. With version 2, the product does not need to be disassembled between each cut. As a result, you can effectively cut multiple branches in less time compared to version 1.
