Description
The OMNIX Swivel Eye & Pin is the serviceable, openable version of Arbpro's OMNIX swivel. One end is a standard swivel connection, the other is equipped with a removable pin that allows you to connect ropes with spliced or sewn ends without having to cut and resplice. Quick to install, quick to replace.
The integrated swivel mechanism provides smooth rotation under load and eliminates the torque that otherwise builds up in climbing, positioning, and rigging ropes. The design is dimensioned for applications where rotational capability and anti-twist performance are required while maintaining structural strength.
Practical if you
- Build custom ropes with sewn or spliced terminals and want to be able to change the swivel point without losing the terminal
- Need a serviceable swivel in rigging or work positioning systems
- Want an openable rotating connection point without specifying a fixed splice
- Use Notch Quickie, Treemotion, or similar systems where sewn lanyards are integrated directly
