Description
Description
Gefa Tree Slings are high-quality tree slings developed for safe, gentle handling of trees in bracing and support. These load-distributing slings are made from hollow-braided polyester or polyamide with no core for easy splicing, with integrated friction protection that protects the tree from damage. They meet ZTV-Baumpflege standards and are GS-tested for high safety and reliability. Available in breaking strengths of 2 t, 4 t and 8 t with widths of 60-80 mm, perfect for dynamic tree bracing depending on trunk diameter.

Technical specifications
- Breaking strength: 2 tonnes, 4 tonnes or 8 tonnes (system breaking strength, initially higher for a long service life).
- Width: 60 mm (2 t and 4 t), 80 mm (8 t).
- Lengths: Adjustable within model range (see table below).
- Material: Hollow-braided polyester (low stretch) or polyamide (higher stretch).
- Compatible with trunk diameters up to 80 cm for the 8 t model per ZTV recommendations.
- Max stretch: Low under normal load, up to 12-25% under extreme load.
