Description

The Tachyon climbing rope from TEUFELBERGER with 2 spLIFE is one of the most popular choices among arborists. It offers excellent grip, low elongation at low load for less bounce during climbing, and high elongation at high load to minimise the shock effect in a fall.

The Tachyon is one of the most successful 24-strand climbing ropes on the market. The rope has a firm yet flexible construction with a polyester cover that significantly improves the performance of friction hitches without "bagginess". The core consists of a polyamide inner core that maintains a constant diameter even under load. With a diameter of **11.5 mm**, it is ideal for tree care operations, giving better grip and reducing hand fatigue. The Tachyon is certified to **EN 1891A** and **ANSI Z133-2012**, and works perfectly with standard equipment for 11.5 mm rope.[1][3]
