The Gränsfors American Felling Axe is a professional axe for traditional forestry work. The wide edge and long handle make it ideal for felling large trees.

The American Felling Axe is a professional axe for anyone who wants to work in the forest in a traditional way. Ideal for felling very large trees thanks to the long, wide 11.5 cm edge[4].

The axe is forged with rounded shapes, which makes it suitable for cutting fresh, resinous timber such as spruce and pine. The heavy head and the straight hickory handle deliver plenty of power in the strike and optimal balance for demanding felling work. The edge guard is made of vegetable-tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri, biodegradable and free from heavy metals. The steel comes entirely from recycled scrap, and the hickory handle is strong, flexible and long-lasting. The handle is impregnated with warm linseed oil and treated with beeswax for extra durability and grip.
