The Gränsfors Large Forest Axe is an agile and rugged professional axe, ideal for felling larger trees and limbing in the forest. The axe is hand-forged with characteristic rounded shapes on the blade, which makes it particularly suitable for work in fresh, resinous timber such as spruce and pine. The rounded shapes reduce the risk of the axe getting stuck in the resin and deliver a clean, efficient cut. The long hickory handle provides plenty of power and control in every strike, perfect for traditional forestry work.[1][2][3]

Gränsfors Bruk has been known for its traditional forging craft since 1902, where every axe undergoes manual checks to ensure the highest quality. The edge is sharpened on delivery and can be honed to keep its sharpness for a long time. An edge guard of vegetable-tanned leather is included for safe storage and transport.[1][2]
