Art Snake Tail

**Art Snake Tail** is an extremely versatile connecting link and anchor from ART, perfect for arborists in climbing, rope access and tree felling. With length adjustable in 5 cm increments, a removable grooved ring (NutRing) and high wear strength thanks to an 8 mm kernmantle rope with a 50/50 Dyneema/polyester core and polyester sheath, it offers optimal safety for anchoring, positioning, rigging and friction management.

The Art Snake Tail works as a reliable connecting unit between harness and ascender, or as an anchor, redirect, work positioning and much more. The unique construction with parallel-sewn 8 mm MegaTwin rope gives minimal stretch, high breaking strength and excellent abrasion resistance thanks to a wide contact area. The rope is developed in collaboration with experts and is pleasantly soft to handle while being UV-resistant. The removable NutRing (25 mm inner diameter) allows variable connections, e.g. with the ART RopeZipper. The segment joints have a static load capacity of up to 4 kN (working load) and shock-absorbing properties from 5 kN through controlled tearing without affecting the breaking strength of the ends. The length is adjusted steplessly in 5 cm increments for precise fitting.
