Description

The RopeGuide TwinLine from ART allows two rope lines to be installed from the ground and can be used for both single rope technique (SRT) and double rope technique (DdRT). Perfect for arborists who need a reliable, versatile and reusable anchor with high safety.

The RopeGuide TwinLine is an innovative friction saver that revolutionises working methods in the canopy. The device consists of two lines: either a short, spliced ART rope (SpliceAnchor) with an open eye in various lengths (up to 4.5 m) or a long rope to EN 1891 (diameter 10–12 mm) without end termination in any length. The short rope system is well proven, while the long rope system is a novelty that for the first time makes it possible to install the RopeGuide from the ground in a very simple way – a single working step creates two rope lines to the anchor point.

The long anchor rope can be used as a second, fully reliable ascent line thanks to the removable knot shell in high-strength plastic (patent protected). This makes it possible for a second person to climb at the same time as the first climber or to follow for rescue purposes. The integrated **ZipAbsorber** reduces shock loading in a fall, and the entire system is fully retrievable from the ground.

Certified to **EN 795 B** (temporary anchor), **CEN/TS 16415:2013** (can be used by two people simultaneously) and in accordance with **EN 355:2002** (energy absorber). Breaking strength: **18–20 kN**. Maximum service life: **10 years for metal components** and **5 years for textile components**.

Features

  • **Patent-protected** design for maximum innovation and safety.
  • **Mobile anchor point** that can easily be moved between trees.
  • **Integrated ZipAbsorber** – shock absorber that activates in a fall and reduces loading.
  • Installation and retrieval of the long rope system from the ground without climbing.
  • Optional use with a short spliced ART rope or a long anchor rope (Ø 10–12 mm) to EN 1891.
  • Long rope system: The anchor rope can be used as an ascent rope or for abseiling.
  • Approved for simultaneous use by **two people** for climbing or work.
  • Body and parts in **aluminium machined from solid material** for high strength and low weight.
  • **Super-easy rope feed** thanks to the Cocoon system.
  • **Continuously adjustable length** for optimal positioning.
  • **Trapeze 4/5 shackle** for secure attachment.
  • Easy pulling of the long rope when changing anchor point thanks to the Ally wheel bearing (not PPE).
  • Automatic locking of the adjustment unit without loss of length.
  • Easy lifting and moving of the adjustment unit even after heavy loading.
  • Easy lifting of the climbing/ascent rope.
  • Optimal **"choking" function** (cinching around the trunk).
  • Retriever ball: Ø 22 mm for easy retrieval.
