Description
Description
The RopeGuide TwinLine from ART enables the installation of two rope lines from the ground and can be used for both Single Rope Technique (SRT) and Doubled Rope Technique (DRT). Perfect for arborists who need a reliable, versatile, and reusable anchor with high safety.
RopeGuide TwinLine is an innovative friction saver that revolutionizes working methods in the tree canopy. The device consists of two ropes: either a short, spliced ART rope (SpliceAnchor) with an open eye in various lengths (up to 4.5 m) or a long rope according to EN 1891 (diameter 10–12 mm) without end termination in any desired length. The short rope system is well-proven, while the long rope system is a novelty that for the first time makes it possible to install the RopeGuide from the ground in a very simple way – with a single work step, two rope lines to the anchor point are created.
The long anchor rope can be used as a second, fully reliable ascent line thanks to the removable knot shell made of high-strength plastic (patent protected). This allows a second person to climb simultaneously with the first climber or to follow for rescue purposes. The integrated **ZipAbsorber** reduces impact loads in the event of a fall, and the entire system is fully retrievable from the ground.
Certified according to **EN 795 B** (temporary anchor), **CEN/TS 16415:2013** (can be used simultaneously by two people) and in accordance with **EN 355:2002** (energy absorber). Breaking strength: **18–20 kN**. Max lifespan: **10 years for metal components** and **5 years for textile components**.
