Description

The Stopper Gate from ART is an essential safety component that allows the RopeGuide systems (RopeGuide TwinLine and RopeGuide 2010) to be safely integrated into an SRT setup (Single Rope Technique). The stopper gate effectively prevents the trapeze from being pinched by the Cocoon during the climb, guaranteeing smooth and safe handling of the stationary rope.

In an SRT setup, the stationary rope runs through the Cocoon and Trapeze. Behind an alpine butterfly knot that does not slip through the Cocoon or Trapeze, the Stopper Gate clicks directly onto the Trapeze to secure the system and avoid risks.
