Description
The Stopper Gate from ART is an essential safety component that enables the safe integration of RopeGuide systems (RopeGuide TwinLine and RopeGuide 2010) into an SRT (Single Rope Technique) setup. The stopper gate effectively prevents the trapeze from being squeezed by the Cocoon during climbing, ensuring smooth and safe handling of the stationary rope.
In an SRT setup, the stationary rope runs through the Cocoon and Trapeze. Behind an alpine butterfly knot that does not slip through the Cocoon or Trapeze, the Stopper Gate is clicked directly onto the Trapeze to secure the system and avoid risks.
