Description
The DMM Boa Locksafe (30kN) is a robust HMS carabiner with a triple-lock (Locksafe) for maximum security in climbing, arborist work and rescue operations. Its large, ergonomic HMS shape provides exceptional volume and gate opening, perfect for Italian hitches, tension rigging and handling with thick gloves.
This heavy-duty HMS carabiner is hot-forged from 14 mm aluminium bar to achieve the high breaking strength of **30 kN** along the major axis, making it ideal for demanding applications. The large, curved pear-shaped basket handles multiple ropes and items without any problem, while the smooth inner form facilitates rotation through eyes and stable stacking under load. The Locksafe mechanism requires three separate movements to open, providing superior security against accidental opening.
The Taperlock nose increases resistance to snagging and side-loading, while the I-beam construction optimises the strength-to-weight ratio. The anodised surface to BS EN 7599:2010 AA10 Sealed protects against corrosion, and individual marking ensures traceability.
