Description
The DMM Boa Locksafe (30kN) is a robust HMS carabiner with triple-lock security (Locksafe) for maximum safety in climbing, arboriculture, and rescue operations. Its large, ergonomic HMS shape provides exceptional volume and gate opening, perfect for Munter hitches, tension rigging, and handling with thick gloves.
This heavy-duty HMS carabiner is hot-forged from 14mm aluminum bar to achieve a high breaking strength of **30 kN** along the major axis, making it ideal for demanding applications. The large, curved pear-shaped basket easily accommodates multiple ropes and devices, while the smooth internal shape facilitates rotation through loops and stable stacking under load. The Locksafe mechanism requires three separate movements to open, providing superior security against accidental opening.
The Taperlock nose increases resistance to snagging and side loading, while the I-beam construction optimizes the strength-to-weight ratio. An anodized finish according to BS EN 7599:2010 AA10 Sealed protects against corrosion, and individual marking ensures traceability.
