HULK

Hulk is an innovative floating lowering device from Courant that improves your ability to lower loads safely and in a controlled way in both simple and complex situations. The robust steel frame with heat-treated and coated components minimises wear on the ropes and significantly extends their service life.

Hulk is extremely easy to handle and intuitive to use. With four fixed but rotating and replaceable aluminium sheaves, it delivers a smooth and controlled lowering of medium to heavy branches and logs. Rope twist and rope-to-rope wear are effectively eliminated. The device is fitted with three stainless steel spikes for perfect positioning on the tree and the rope inside the unit. It has a lower attachment eye for a carabiner or rigging sling and an upper attachment eye to keep the unit vertical or as an anchor point for lifting operations. A unique rope locking function on the side of the frame makes it possible to quickly adjust friction through different sheave configurations, for load capacities from 10 kg up to a maximum of 500 kg.
