Description

The GreenDrop "white" watering bag protects young trees against heat damage. The white colour reflects sunlight and provides even watering over several hours.

Proven over years with the ARBO FLEX trunk protection paint – until now not applied in other areas: white products exposed to the sun do not heat up as quickly as products in darker colour variants. We have now transferred this physical principle to watering bags. The result is the GreenDrop® “white” watering bag.

The GreenDrop “white” watering bag is the latest development from GEFA Produkte Fabritz GmbH. With its volume of 60–75 litres, it is the optimal solution for targeted tree watering.

The background: when using green watering bags mounted directly against the trunk of a young tree, without spacers or an air gap, some customers have reported heat damage to the trunk. With conventional green watering bags, the water or the air between the trunk and the bag can heat up so much that damage occurs.

The new GreenDrop® “white” watering bag reduces the risk of such damage. The main advantage of this watering bag is its white colour, which prevents overheating of the trunk. Our white bag reflects sunlight effectively and thereby reduces the heat transfer to the tree.

In addition, it offers aesthetic benefits – in combination with trunk protection paint, a harmonious colour scheme is created.
