White watering bag (75L)

GreenDrop "white" watering bag protects young trees against heat damage. The white color reflects sunlight and provides even watering for several hours.

Proven for years with the trunk protection paint ARBO FLEX – not yet applied in other areas: white products exposed to the sun do not heat up as quickly as products in darker color variations. We have now transferred this physical principle to irrigation bags. The result is the GreenDrop® “white” irrigation bag.

The GreenDrop “white” watering bag is the latest development from GEFA Produkte Fabritz GmbH. With its volume of 60–75 liters, it is the optimal solution for targeted tree watering.

The background: when using green irrigation bags that are mounted directly to the trunk of a young tree, without spacers or air gaps, some customers have reported heat damage to the trunk. With conventional green irrigation bags, the water or air between the trunk and the bag can heat up to the point where damage occurs.

The new GreenDrop® “white” watering bag reduces the risk of such damage. The great advantage of this watering bag is its white color, which prevents overheating of the trunk. Our white bag effectively reflects sunlight and thus reduces heat transfer to the tree.

In addition, it provides aesthetic benefits – in combination with trunk protection paint, a harmonious color scale is created.
