Description

The DMM Steel Oval Locksafe is an extremely strong and versatile carabiner in carbon steel with Locksafe triple locking. It is ideal for rope access, tree felling, industrial climbing and all applications where high safety and durability are required.

The DMM Steel Oval Locksafe (product code C457) is made from cold-forged and fully heat-treated carbon steel with a 10 mm bar stock for an optimal combination of low weight and exceptional strength. The oval shape ensures centred positioning of rope, slings, pulleys and other devices, minimising unwanted movement and providing stable load distribution - an advantage over D-shaped carabiners.

The Locksafe closure requires three distinct movements to open, providing maximum safety in demanding environments. The carabiner is zinc-plated to EN ISO 2081:2008 Fe/Zn 5c for excellent corrosion protection, and each unit is individually marked for traceability.
