Description
The At Height CurlyWirly K25 carabiner optimises the orientation of lowering equipment. Its twisted design reduces twisting and increases safety in rope access and rescue operations.
K25 CurlyWirly Twisted Carabiner
The K25 CurlyWirly carabiner is developed by At Height UK to provide optimal orientation of descent devices when attached to a fixed anchor point in a tensioned system. Each K25 carabiner is precisely twisted by 53° to ensure your lowering equipment hangs correctly, reducing unnecessary twisting and improving both safety and efficiency in rope access, rescue operations or industrial working environments.
K25TA (Three-stage lock)
- Dimensions: 65 × 107 mm
- Weight: 87 g
- Breaking strength (MBS): 25 kN
- Lock type: Three-stage safety lock
- Gate opening: 22 mm
Key features:
- 53° Rotation: Carefully designed to guide descent devices into the best position, preventing unwanted rotation or side loading under load.
- High Strength & Durability: Rated to a breaking strength of at least 25 kN, suitable for demanding rope access and rescue missions.
- Traceability: Each carabiner is individually serialised, simplifying equipment tracking, inspection and documentation.
- Lightweight design: Weighing under 90 g, the carabiner reduces the total weight in the system without compromising on strength.
Applications:
- Rope access and industrial work at height
- Rescue services and emergency response
- Tree care and arborist rigging
- All tension-and-release systems that require precise orientation of lowering equipment
Whether you need the extra security of a three-stage lock or the simplicity of a screwgate, the K25 CurlyWirly carabiner ensures your lowering equipment is always correctly oriented. The combination of strength, low weight and serial-number-based traceability makes it an indispensable component for professional rigging, rescue and industrial safety systems.
