Turbo Chest

Turbo Chest is a revolutionary chest climber with rollers for smoother climbing and reduced wear. It can also be used as a lockable pulley for easier transport.

A revolutionary chest climber that features two proprietary rollers for smooth contact with the rope. This not only helps to make climbing more efficient by making the upward slide much smoother. It also reduces dangerous wear on the device where the rope tends to rub against the body on a traditional ascender. The perfectly profiled closure keeps the rope in line with the body of the device and the rollers to prevent the rope from coming loose from the device during tight swings and traverses. Self-cleaning holes on both the body and cam help prevent grit and dirt build-up. Thicker body plates and a shaped connection point reduce wear on the device caused by displacement between the device and the connection (especially when used with steel connections). This also keeps the device more in line with the body during use. The opening mechanism is simple and secure with the option to lock the device open for easier attachment and a removable pull cord making it easier to use with gloves. The proprietary rollers also allow the Turbochest to be rigged as a lockable pulley for light transport with a maximum load of 50 kg, 110 lbs. NOTE: This configuration is not intended for transporting or securing bodies.
