DMM Captain

The DMM Captain is an innovative, high-strength hook designed for secure and stable positioning when working at height. Its unique design facilitates easy placement and controlled lateral movement (traversal) on complex structures such as trees or industrial constructions.

The DMM Captain is an advanced tool for modern arborists and height safety professionals. This self-locating hook is meticulously designed and tested with DMM's characteristic focus on detail and safety. The swivel D-shackle prevents misplacement by destabilizing the hook at an incorrect angle, and works perfectly with the sculpted hook shape for reliable attachment – even on remote anchor points. Once properly placed, it provides a nominal breaking strength of 23 kN (depending on anchor strength).

When the work is done, the Captain easily attaches to the harness, minimizing the risk of snagging. Ideal for working between or within complex structures, such as treetops or steel constructions.
