The DMM Revolver is a revolutionary and versatile carabiner with an integrated wheel for smooth use in rescue, rigging, and work situations in arboriculture and at height. It combines the benefits of lightweight aluminum carabiners with a low-friction wheel from a pulley, making it ideal for clipping tight ropes, hoisting chainsaws, deviating running ropes, and much more. Particularly useful in rescue scenarios such as crevasse rescues, mountaineering, or remote tree rescues where weight savings and simplicity are crucial.
The DMM Revolver is available in versions with a wire gate or triple locking (Locksafe) for increased safety. The Wiregate version has a low-profile gate, perfect for applications where the carabiner needs to be rotated or turned in small loops or eyes where a locking carabiner is not required. It is compact and can be carried on a harness or in a pocket with minimal weight impact, as a complement to your PPE rather than a replacement in critical situations.
The Locksafe version forms a neat 'semi-captured' connection with many arborist components such as rigging hubs and anchor rings. This minimizes the risk of the carabiner flipping or cross-loading, making it indispensable in fixed or remote rescue systems.
