Description
The Absorber Sling is an EN 355 compliant self-belay sling from Edelrid, perfect for anchoring to anchor points like anchor chains or other fixed points.
This compact energy-absorbing lanyard offers reliable fall protection with an extremely small energy absorber that withstands a factor 2 standard fall (EN 355) with a maximum impact force below 6 kN. The elastic arm allows for smooth handling of the carabiner close to the hand, and attachment to the harness is easily done with a girth hitch. Note: Not to be used as a via ferrata set.
